Adult Program • Practical Training for Real Growth

Build Strength, Confidence & Real Capability

Most martial arts programs focus on punches, kicks, and physical conditioning. Those things matter—but they’re not the real reason people’s lives change through training.

At Body Mind Systems, martial arts is a method for improving the person.

Your results in life are shaped by your beliefs and attitudes. Those beliefs influence how you think, how you act, and the habits you build every day. Over time, those habits determine the direction of your life.

When you improve the way you think and approach challenges, everything else begins to change.

That’s why our training goes beyond physical technique. Through disciplined practice, students develop stronger focus, greater confidence, patience, and personal responsibility. The process challenges limiting beliefs and replaces them with stronger ones—both physically and mentally.

NOBODY is stuck living a smaller life than they’re capable of. Growth is always possible for those willing to work on themselves. Martial arts simply provides the structure to do that work.

Students come for the training, but what they gain often reaches far beyond the mat—into their health, relationships, careers, and the way they approach life.

If you’re ready to challenge yourself and grow, your first step is simple. Start with a trial class and experience the training for yourself.

How the Adult Program works

Adults train within a complete system. You build strong fundamentals first, then layer in more advanced skill: striking, partner drills, throws, joint control, internal training, weapons, and practical application.

Build the foundation

Start with stance, alignment, breath, footwork, coordination, and core mechanics. This makes everything else stronger, safer, and more efficient.

  • Posture and structure (more power, less strain)
  • Mobility and control (move better in every direction)
  • Confidence under pressure (clearer mind, steadier body)

Layer in practical skill

As your base improves, you work through striking, throws, takedowns, joint control, weapons, and controlled partner application.

  • Range transitions (from distance to close contact)
  • Leverage and timing (skill over brute force)
  • Partner repetition (technique becomes natural)

Apply it to life

Body Mind Systems uses martial arts to develop the person. The goal is not just technique, but a stronger, calmer, more disciplined version of you.

  • Consistency and discipline (show up stronger in daily life)
  • Stress regulation (respond instead of react)
  • Healthy confidence (quiet strength and better presence)
Your first class is designed to be approachable. You do not need prior experience or top-level fitness. We meet you where you are and help you build from there.

Adult training at Body Mind Systems is for people who want more than a workout. It is for adults who want to become stronger, healthier, calmer, more disciplined, and more capable— using martial arts as a practical path to that growth.

Adults training together at Body Mind Systems

What adults train

The adult program draws from eight core arts. Together they create a balanced system that develops striking, grappling, internal power, weapons proficiency, coordination, and real-world self-protection.

Kong Su Do Striking • Stance • Discipline

Kong Su Do develops strong basics: stance, balance, kicking, hand techniques, structure, and disciplined movement. It gives adults a reliable foundation for power, control, coordination, and confidence.

  • Builds posture and body mechanics (stronger movement, safer joints)
  • Improves power and speed (without sacrificing control)
  • Creates discipline and focus (clear execution under pressure)

Hapkido Joint Control • Leverage • Self-Defense

Hapkido teaches adults how to redirect force, control limbs and joints, and respond effectively at close range. It is ideal for developing leverage-based self-defense skill without relying on strength alone.

  • Teaches grips, escapes, and control (practical close-range tools)
  • Improves timing and sensitivity (feel openings instead of forcing them)
  • Builds calm confidence (effective control with less chaos)
Yudo image 1 Yudo image 2 Yudo image 3

Yudo Throws • Balance • Takedowns

Yudo develops balance disruption, takedowns, throws, and falling safely. It gives adults practical grappling awareness, better body control, and confidence when encounters move into clinch or off-balancing range.

  • Teaches breakfalls and body awareness (move safer on and off the mat)
  • Improves timing and balance (control through structure, not force)
  • Builds functional strength (legs, hips, and core integration)
Kung Fu image 1 Kung Fu image 2 Kung Fu image 3

Kung Fu Coordination • Flow • Athletic Skill

Kung Fu broadens movement vocabulary and builds dynamic coordination, agility, forms, and expressive athletic control. It helps adults become more capable movers while strengthening discipline and technical precision.

  • Builds whole-body coordination (hands, feet, hips, and eyes working together)
  • Improves fluidity and athleticism (stronger movement quality overall)
  • Develops technical discipline (cleaner execution and rhythm)

Bagua Zhang Internal Power • Balance • Spiral Motion

Bagua Zhang develops internal mechanics, footwork, balance, and rotational power. It teaches adults how to move with structure, maintain center under pressure, and generate efficient force with less tension.

  • Improves balance and body awareness (more stable and coordinated movement)
  • Develops calm power (relaxed, efficient force generation)
  • Strengthens internal focus (breath, intention, and presence)

Tai Chi Breath • Alignment • Longevity

Tai Chi trains alignment, breath, joint-friendly movement, and deep body awareness. For adults, it supports longevity, stress management, recovery, and the ability to move with relaxed control and presence.

  • Supports joint health and mobility (sustainable training over time)
  • Improves breath and nervous system control (less tension, more calm)
  • Builds subtle internal strength (stability, sensitivity, and composure)

Kom Do Sword • Precision • Intent

Kom Do develops line, posture, edge awareness, focus, and disciplined execution. Adults gain precision, intent, and a strong connection between structure, breath, and committed movement.

  • Sharpens focus and concentration (clean intent in every motion)
  • Builds posture and line awareness (power through alignment)
  • Trains discipline and composure (control before speed)
Traditional weapons image 1 Traditional weapons image 2 Traditional weapons image 3 Traditional weapons image 4 Traditional weapons image 5 Traditional weapons image 6

Traditional Weapons Distance • Timing • Discipline

Traditional weapons training improves range awareness, precision, timing, posture, and mental discipline. It is a powerful way for adults to deepen concentration, coordination, and technical control.

  • Improves distance management (understand range with clarity)
  • Builds coordination and precision (whole-body integration)
  • Strengthens presence and discipline (focused movement with intent)
A true complete system. Adults train across internal, external, grappling, sword, and traditional weapons work so they develop balanced skill—not just one narrow slice of martial arts.
